Data deletion instructions
Use this page to request deletion of data associated with WhaOne. There is currently no automated self-serve deletion portal or Meta data-deletion callback in the product. Last updated 17 September 2026.
1. Who can request deletion
Organization owners and authorized administrators can request deletion of their WhaOne workspace and the account records tied to that workspace. If you used Facebook or Meta login / Embedded Signup while connecting WhatsApp Business assets to WhaOne, you can request deletion of the WhaOne records created from that connection.
2. How to submit a request
A public support email is not published in this deployment, so this page does not invent one. Signed-in customers should open their WhaOne workspace and use the Contact channel described there, including the account email and workspace name in the request. If a public support email is later configured, it will appear on Contact and on this page.
There is no in-product button that currently deletes an entire tenant automatically. Requests are reviewed by an operator. Do not include passwords, session cookies, or Meta access tokens in the request.
3. What WhaOne can delete
After verification, WhaOne can delete or de-identify workspace records it stores, such as user account rows for that organization, contacts, conversation and message records stored by WhaOne, templates, campaigns, automations, notes, and connection metadata. Encrypted Meta tokens stored for that workspace are included in that workspace data.
4. What WhaOne cannot delete for you
WhaOne cannot delete data that lives only in Meta, WhatsApp, or your own systems. Disconnecting or deleting a WhatsApp Business Account, phone number, or Facebook/Meta business asset must be done in Meta Business settings when Meta provides that control. People who chatted with a business on WhatsApp should contact that business; those messages are the customer's workspace data, not a separate WhaOne consumer account.
5. Backups and legal holds
Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for a limited operational period until those backups rotate. WhaOne may retain records when required to meet a legal obligation, prevent abuse, or complete an existing security investigation. This page does not invent a numbered deletion SLA.
